Ashley was born prematurely and weighed in at 2 lbs, 8 pounds, 8 ounces. Her time in ICU lasted a month. She was informed by her parents at the time of Christmas Day that she had to undergo heart surgery. Christmas Day was the day the doctors verified to her parents the things they'd been praying for when she visited the hospital. She was discharged and her parents were told. Ashley was not required to undergo any surgery. Within two months of hospitalization, she was only 4 1/2 pounds at the time of her release. Her health is improving. Her father is of English as well as German ancestry. Her mother's family comes from Ireland. Ashley made her acting debut in the role of Barbie Doll the Salon Surprise commercial of 2002. Ashley was then approached by The Ford Modeling Agency at the age of eight. In print, she has worked consistently and remains in the Agency. When she was just 10 years old, she decided that acting was the way she would like to go. Ashley began her career with 35 commercials before moving on to theatre roles. Ashley currently has a love for acting. Ashley committed all her energy to acting and no longer had any spare time for dancing or modeling. Ashley's last appearance on ABC Family Pretty Little Liars was "Hanna Marin". Ashley was a guest performance in the music video "True Love" performed by Romeo Miller, aka Lil Romeo and Solange. Britney as well as Ashley participated in the Vogue Magazine Photo Shoot. She appears on the soundtrack video "That Girl" by NLT.
